Yorkshire Junkies jam

After our June jam was such a success, we’re looking at putting another one on, on the 8th September down at the Hall of Fame off London Road.

Spaces are filling up fast, so get in touch ASAP if you’d like to paint.
People are more than welcome to just come and watch too, the more the merrier.

Fingers crossed for the weather!

Greenhead Park, Huddersfield

This weekend will see the second Jam in the Park event in Huddersfield.

The event kicks of at 12:00 midday and ends at 19:00, with graffiti and music artists from around Yorkshire and the UK. Acts include DTTS, Jack-Flash, Mega-mouth, Tabo and many more.

There will also be break dancing, skating, beat boxing and a host of other activities on the day.

An auction MIGHT be taking place to raise money for Drug Sense and the proceeds will be going to the charity, this is un-confirmed until the day but should be good for the charity and putting on another event next year.

An over 18’s after party is going on at the Parish and more info will be available on the day.

Yorkshire Junkies will be down there photographing the whole day so if you see us say hello.

Make sure you check out the flicks of the event next week.

The June jam was cancelled this year due to the bad weather, so only the July one went ahead.

The day will feature experimental values from Look and Listen, who will be accompanying Kid Acne’s MC performance as well as a UK first in laser tagging. Music will also be provided by Latin hip-hop band Cultura Londres and beats by reggaeton masters DJ Lubi and DJ Gib.

A Pampero bar will be manned by the Reform and Caracus street food will be sizzling on a barbeque from Baby Jupiter.
